Inconsistent food! Maybe I'm spoiled having lived in the South Loop for years! Do NOT order the Oriental Soup! It was Chicken Noodle! Nothing Oriental about it!!

Amazing service and really good food! We tried this restaurant many years ago and didn't like it, but after hearing some rave reviews tried it again. So glad we did! Everything was delicious and like I said, the service was amazing. We had crab rangoon (not super sweet, which is my preference), egg rolls (could have used some stronger flavors, but was flaky and very good) and kung bao chicken, which was DELICIOUS. We'll definitely be back!
Coming from Florida where mostly what we have are takeout locations for chinese food, most of which are pretty good, this was an exciting and new experience for for us. The location seems to be family run and from what I understand the owners have been there for a long time. From this comes the passion and care that we experienced in our service. They really took good care of us! The dinner started with the owner bringing us complimentary tea in a pot to go with the teacups that already sat on our table. The tea was a great way to warm up from the cold and to add cheer to our spirits while we looked over the menu. From there we ordered the Hot & Sour Soup. This was one of the better soups I had ever had, and I will be ordering it again. Following this I ordered the Beef Chow Fun and Fried Rice. Both dishes came in a family portion designed to be shared. This was fun because we got to try a bit of everything! We had such a great time here and I have to say it was the best Chinese food I have ever had. I cannot wait for my next visit to Chicago as I plan to definitely revisit this establishment.
